The company was founded in 1967 by its Chairman Syed A. K. Masud. It all started with trading commodity items followed by supply and servicing of construction, irrigation, and on-site power generation equipment for development projects. Within the next couple of decades, the company began its core operation by representing world class manufacturers and turned out to be one of the leading names in Bangladesh for supplying industrial engineering equipment.

In the 1990's there was an industrial boom in Bangladesh which saw hundreds of garments, textile, ceramic, pharmaceuticals, steel manufacturing companies mushrooming throughout the country. Dana Engineers rode that industrial wave and became one of the biggest names in the country for the supply and servicing of industrial gas generators.

Dana Group along with its reputation in terms of providing solutions in various industrial and business sectors ranging from Engineering, Technology, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Petroleum, Water & Sewerage Treatment, Car Rental, Tourism, Chemical, Building Management System, Solar, Filtration System, and many other sectors have been serving as one of the leading groups of companies in Bangladesh.

After more than 58 years since its inception, Dana Group of Companies has more than 10 diverse business units under its wing, and it hopes to continue exploring opportunities and diversity further into new sectors.

Our History

A Legacy of Growth

The company was founded in 1967 by its Chairman Syed A. K. Masud. It all started with trading commodity items followed by supply and servicing of construction, irrigation, and on-site power generation equipment for development projects.
